1) Subscription to our annual journal which contains articles from our annual conference and other occasional articles, interviews and books reviews.
2) Access to our members’ area of our website, which includes more pastoral and practical details concerning Monos and monastic spirituality. This part of the site is only available to members and allows you to:
- Join a secure online forum for Monos members’
- Join an online reading room. As well as offering a structure to reading and personal study you will have the opportunity to discuss and share thoughts with others reading the same books, through the forum.
- Read articles, essays and reflections. As time goes on this page will contain occasional work being developed in monastic spirituality and its relevance to the Christian community at large.
- Listen to a guest speaker. We will be inviting two guest speakers each year, to write a series of six articles each on aspects of monastic spirituality; the articles will be delivered on the 1st of each month. There will be an opportunity to ask questions via email on the published work.
- Ask the abbot. Ask the abbot, is an opportunity for people to ask questions concerning monastic spirituality, its relevance and practical application to every day Christian living. Questions can be asked to either an Abbot of a traditional monastic house, or a leader of a new/secular monastic community.
- View our New Publications and Review page. We will keep members’ up to date with new publications concerning monastic spirituality.
- View our Research and Resource Page. This page will contain links to various organisations that are working in the field of new/secular monasticism and offer information on current research in this field, as well as work within Monos.

6) The opportunity to support this organisation in our efforts to make available resources to help individuals and organisations in their pursuit of monastic spirituality as a context for Christian living, whilst allowing others to reflect upon this phenomenon.
Subscription Details
Individual Membership: £42 per year, £35 Concession
Family Membership: £78 per year, £71 Concession (2 adults and children under 18)
Group Membership: Please contact us for a quote on group membership.
(Discounts on workshops etc. only extends to the first 20 people for each group membership)
Concessions include: Students, Unwaged, Seniors and those in Religious Orders. You will need to contact us if a concession is required.
